Watch this space. New family pictures every month.
CherryHill Farm in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, now a part of Pennsylvania's Raccoon Creek State Park, and often misnamed the "Nichols Farm" due to Emma Doak's husband's family name.
[above] "PJ" and Clara Flynn. Picture courtesy of Don Baker of Atlanta; Grandson of Patrick John Flynn and Clara Flynn. Picture circa 1937. Eat your heart out Grant Woods! Real people...just a tad poorer...and with the 3-tined pitchfork pointed down instead of up! This picture was probably taken at or near Fox Chapel, PA, near Strohm's Mill, where Grandma Flynn was born. Today it is a wealthy estate area housing the likes of retired [Beaver County] football stars and Pittsburgh business executives. Pictured on the right of Patrick John Flynn is Sean Patrick Doak, PJs Great-Great grandson. Sean Patrick lives in Salem, Oregon, with Mom Tricia and Dad Patrick, and is looking forward to playing for Notre Dame.
